AVAILABILITY

Available for new therapy clients from June 2025.

Please do not hesitate to contact me to enquire for an appointment as cancellations can occur and an earlier appointment may be available to offer to you.

  • $250/session

Fees are based on a standard 50-minute session.

The recommended fee set by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) is $311/session.

  • If you are referred by your doctor under a Mental Health Care Plan, you are eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. For people who meet the Medicare Safety Net threshold, the rebate will be significantly higher.

Fee breakdown: $250/session fee less rebate ($96.65) = out of pocket cost of $153.35.

  • If you have private health insurance, your plan may include counselling as part of extras cover. It is encouraged that you check with your insurer to confirm rebate amounts. Please note that Medicare and private health insurance rebates cannot be claimed for the same session.

  • I do not offer services for:

    • Third Parties (NDIS, WorkCover, EAP, DVA, Victims of Crime). Only exception is I offer services to CTP Claims (motor vehicle accidents).

    • Medical, legal, immigration reports

    • Cognitive assessments and reports

  • My private practice does not receive public funding, and the source of my income is from clients who attend their appointment with me. When a client does not attend their scheduled appointment, I have the possibility of incurring a loss. Unfortunately, it may also mean that other clients who are on my waiting list, miss out on potential support.

To avoid the above, I have implemented a strict policy which is reflected in our written agreement when you choose to come for therapy with me. If for some reason you need to cancel your appointment, I kindly request that you please provide 48-hours’ notice so that I can offer this time to someone else. If you are feeling ill but well enough to attend the session remotely, I can help you change the appointment over to telehealth.

Unfortunately, if you miss your appointment or cancel late, you will be charged the full session fee. Missed appointments or late cancellations are unable to be claimed by Medicare or private health funds.
